Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)
Arizona offers the nation's first universal education savings account program, which may offset tuition for our accredited homeschool programs. Our state-funding guide walks you through eligibility, amounts, application steps, and program matching.

ESA Universal
For all Arizona K–12 students who are residents of the state. No income limits and no prior public school enrollment required. Average awards range from $7,000 to $10,000 per school year, deposited quarterly into a family-controlled ClassWallet account.

ESA Disability Funding
- Arizona's ESA program provides expanded funding for students with a documented disability — supporting specialized instruction, therapies, and assistive technology in addition to standard educational expenses. Funding amounts vary by disability category.
- Arizona residency required
- Current IEP, MET evaluation, or 504 plan required (from an AZ public school)
- Enhanced funding for therapies and specialized support
- Application administered via the Arizona Department of Education
