Terms and Conditions
Revised 03/11/2026
Homeschool Partnership Statement
Bridgeway Academy is a fully accredited Pre‑K–12 homeschool academy. In this Agreement, “homeschooling” is defined as a cooperative partnership among Bridgeway Academy staff, the enrolled student, and the student’s family. All parties agree that student success requires consistent, good‑faith engagement. The family understands and agrees to engage in their student’s homeschool journey through the four areas described below.
Active Participation
The family will play an ongoing role in the student’s education by ensuring the completion of coursework, assessments, and required activities. The family will provide instructional oversight in a supportive learning environment through monitoring engagement, motivation, attendance, and performance. The family will communicate regularly with Bridgeway Academy staff and respond to messages in a timely manner.
Collaboration and Communication
The family will keep Bridgeway Academy informed of the student’s progress, challenges, or circumstances affecting learning, and will participate in required meetings, reviews, orientations, or conferences. Delays in response can result in delays in service, including but not limited to course and curriculum selections, the processing of reports and transcripts, and the ability of Bridgeway Academy staff to support the student and family in their educational journey.
Instructional Support
The family acknowledges that homeschooling requires direct family involvement and agrees to provide supervision, guidance, and instructional support appropriate to the student’s needs and program.
Shared Commitment
Bridgeway Academy, the student, and the family share responsibility for the program's effectiveness. Active family involvement is a condition of enrollment and essential to the student’s success.
Bridgeway Academy Terms and Conditions
This Agreement and performance will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts sitting in Allentown, PA. Any action arising from this Agreement must be brought in a court sitting in Allentown, PA.
By completing enrollment in Bridgeway Academy, you agree that you have read, understand, and agree to Bridgeway Academy's financial and academic policies and regulations outlined below. By completing this enrollment, you represent and warrant that you (i) are authorized to accept these terms on behalf of the party agreeing to these terms and (ii) agree to abide by and comply with these regulations as they apply to yourself and every student you are enrolling. Further, you understand that all references in this document to “parent” or “family” apply to the individual(s) responsible for overseeing and/or financing the education of the student(s) they enroll. Terms and conditions are subject to change.
Academic Policies
A summary of Bridgeway academic policies includes, but is not limited to, the following.
Policies and Practices
● Families and students agree to abide by all policies outlined in the Bridgeway Parent/Student Handbook, including those related to course fees, course cancellation, and grade reporting.
● Familiarity with individual states' homeschooling laws, compliance, and fulfillment of requirements is the responsibility of parents/guardians. Bridgeway Academy is not responsible for completing or submitting state documents for the student.
● All students will be required to complete a Family Orientation, regardless of program type, before curriculum materials are ordered/shipped, or before online access is provided.
● Bridgeway Academy reserves the right to deny a request for a formal letter of recommendation for any student enrolled for less than one academic school year and/or if a student has displayed academic dishonesty.
Academic Requirements
● Bridgeway Academy does not tolerate cheating. Parents will be expected to monitor student work diligently and prohibit any form of cheating or plagiarism.
● To measure the student’s progress, all 1st-grade through 11th-grade students must take the online diagnostic assessments to assist with placement and support student performance at the beginning and end of each school year.
● Tests and other required materials for record-keeping services must be completed and returned according to school deadlines. This remains true regardless of which payment plan is selected.
Graduation
● All high school students must complete and pay for at least one full academic year (5 credit min.) to be eligible for graduation through Bridgeway Academy.
● All final graduation requirements for newly enrolled high school students will be determined on an individual student basis and can only be determined after receipt of all official transcripts.
Privacy
● Bridgeway Academy sometimes uses the services of educational providers to assist with course development, instruction, grading of student work, or tutoring. These third-party education providers must preserve the confidentiality of all information they receive from Bridgeway Academy concerning student(s) enrolled or receiving services, including their identities and academic performance. By enrolling any student(s) with Bridgeway Academy, you agree that we may share information concerning your student(s) and their academic work with these third-party education providers.
● Bridgeway Academy may record Live Online Classes for training, educational, and promotional purposes. Enrollment grants Bridgeway Academy permission to use videos or screenshots that may contain students for the stated purposes only. Parent or student recording of these classes violates the FERPA privacy statute and is strictly prohibited.
No Progress Policy
● Students are required to make adequate progress within a timeframe based on their program of enrollment. Students and families in those programs will be made aware of this requirement and should work within the academic calendar and pacing guides.
● If a student remains below the required pace for more than eight consecutive weeks, an academic hold will be placed on their account. If the issue is not resolved, the student may be academically withdrawn. Please note that tuition is non-refundable in cases of academic withdrawal. Maintaining communication with your advisor is crucial if your student is unable to meet the weekly minimum requirements in the online program.
General Financial Policies
A summary of the financial policies includes, but is not limited to, the following.
Tuition and Payment
● Authorization of automatic payments from an approved credit/debit card or checking account is required for all students enrolled in payment plans. It is the family's responsibility to ensure that automated payments are set up correctly (e.g., the correct card and bank).
● Student materials will not be shipped until families have met with an Advisor to determine and finalize course and material selections.
● Student academic records (grades and/or transcripts) will not be released until the student’s account is fully paid.
Auto-Enrollment
● Auto-enrollment is a convenient plan that locks in your tuition rate through the end of the tuition lock enrollment period.
○ If your student upgrades or moves to a new grade or program level during this time, you’ll pay that level’s fee at the rate in effect when you began auto-enrollment—protecting you from future tuition increases.
○ If your student downgrades programs levels, tuition lock is canceled and current tuition rates will be charged for that program level.
● Auto-enrollment is automatically applied to all students enrolling full-time in a Bridgeway Academy Tier Program unless specified otherwise. Auto-enrollment families agree to automated payments using the method of payment on record through the end of the current enrollment period, or until auto-enrollment is discontinued. If you opt out before the enrollment period ends, any remaining balance will be billed on the monthly payment schedule until paid in full.
● Annual enrollment fees are waived for those who choose the monthly auto-enrollment payment plan. Families choosing the full-pay or two-payment options will be required to pay any applicable extension fees for the current year and an annual re-enrollment fee.
● Discontinuing auto-enrollment can be done at any time; however, the current payment schedule will remain in place until tuition is paid in full.
● Students who leave the auto-enrollment program and remain enrolled at Bridgeway Academy will be subject to re-enrollment and extension fees.
Extension Fees
● A school year extension fee of $200.00 will be charged per student per course per month for students taking textbook or online courses if final school grades are submitted after the due date. Additional fees apply for some courses (e.g., courses with instructional services).
● Two (2) extensions are allowed for full-year packages and one (1) for half-year packages. Extensions are not permitted for by-course enrollments.
● Families who choose the monthly auto-enrollment program are not subject to extension fees.
Late Fees/Payments
● A late fee of $35.00 will be charged when a scheduled tuition payment is late. If the late payment is not submitted within 30 days, the student’s enrollment will be put on hold, causing the disabling of accounts so that platforms and content are inaccessible.
● Returned Payments: A $45 fee will be charged for any returned check, ACH, or credit card payment declined due to insufficient funds.
Withdrawals
● Reactivating an account on hold requires payment of all past-due tuition. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the enrollment.
● Any student with an account payment 90 days past due will be withdrawn.
● Re-enrolling after withdrawal or cancellation of enrollment will be treated as enrolling a new student. Full payment of any outstanding tuition and fees from the previous enrollment is required. Previous payments will not be credited toward the new tuition fees.
Refund Policy
Families choosing to withdraw their student(s) must submit a formal intent to withdraw before being considered for a refund. All refunds are subject to the terms and conditions in this section.
Standard Tuition Refunds
Refunds before and within 14 days from start date
● If a student cancels or withdraws their enrollment for any reason on or before 14 days from the start date, Bridgeway Academy will retain twenty percent (20%) of the total annual tuition as a non‑refundable administrative and restocking fee. If less than 20% of tuition has been paid at the time of cancellation or withdrawal, the family authorizes Bridgeway Academy to charge the difference up to 20% of the total tuition amount to the payment method on file.
● The remaining eighty percent (80%) of tuition eligible for refund will be refunded to the original payment method, subject to any non‑refundable fees and physical materials charges listed below.
Refunds after 14 days from the start date
● No refunds will be issued after 14 days from the start date of the student’s program.
● Any student who withdraws more than 14 days after the start date and has outstanding payments will be immediately charged for any outstanding balance.
● Tuition is non‑refundable in cases of academic withdrawal or non‑progress withdrawals.
Non‑Refundable Fees
● All registration, cost of shipped materials tied to enrollment, service, and shipping fees are non‑refundable, including the cost to ship materials.
● The following fees are always non‑refundable: the $500 HOPE evaluation fee and any Dual Enrollment course fees.
Add‑Ons, Accreditation, and Individual Course Purchases
● Unless otherwise stated for a specific product, Bridgeway will retain one hundred percent (100%) of fees paid for add‑ons such as accreditation services and individual course purchases once course access is provided, materials are shipped, or the service period begins; these fees are non‑refundable.
● Where a separate refund policy applies to a specific add‑on, accreditation package, or individual course, that specific policy will govern that portion of the enrollment.
State Funding and ESA Programs
● Edovate Learning will honor the refund policies of individual states offering educational funding (for example, ESA funding processed through platforms such as ClassWallet).
● Families enrolling with this funding as payment are not eligible for auto‑re‑enrollment and remain financially responsible for tuition costs and/or purchased course enrollments.
● If state policy prohibits payment for services after a family withdraws, or if state funds do not cover all tuition and fees, the family remains responsible for any unpaid tuition and fees and is subject to the same refund policy as families not using state funding.
Partner Schools and External Organizations
● For students enrolled in Bridgeway Academy through a partner school, district, or external organization, enrollment, re‑enrollment, and renewal of services are governed by the terms of Bridgeway Academy’s agreement with that partner or organization.
● If a student withdraws from the partner organization, or if the partner program ceases or declines to continue its partnership with Bridgeway Academy, the family is responsible for paying any tuition due for the current school year and will be subject to Bridgeway Academy’s standard financial policies, including this Refund Policy.
● Parents may elect to continue the student’s enrollment directly with Bridgeway Academy, in which case the family will be responsible for all applicable tuition and fees under Bridgeway Academy’s financial policies.
Curriculum Changes
● Tuition is all-inclusive and covers the originally selected courses and materials for the academic year.
● To ensure students remain on track, course or tier changes must be requested within fourteen (14) days of receiving materials or accessing online courses. Changes requested within this 14-day window may be eligible for exchange approval.
● All course exchanges or drop requests made after enrollment will incur a $200.00 per-course Change/Drop Fee, unless the third-party license falls within the refundable period (typically 14 days from the course start date or the license assignment date). The refundable period is at the vendor's discretion.
Physical Materials
● Families are responsible for all shipping costs associated with course changes.
● Returns of materials–whether consumable or non-consumable—will not be accepted, and the cost of issued materials and online licenses is non-refundable.
Online Courses
● Enrollment in an asynchronous or live online course secures a spot within the program, access to course materials, academic records management, and, where applicable, third-party digital licenses. Upon enrollment, administrative processing and course access are initiated.
● Change requests must be submitted within the 14-day course drop window. No changes will be permitted after the 14-day deadline.
● If Bridgeway Academy cancels a scheduled section or class due to insufficient enrollment, families will be notified and offered an alternative section or class option. Refunds will not be issued in this circumstance.
● Students enrolled in an online course must have a computer, headset with a microphone, a high-speed internet connection, and a readily available webcam (for live online classes).
Scholarships
All students applying for missions, military, or pastoral scholarships must complete the proper forms and submit all required verification items before scholarship applications are processed. If a student qualifies for a scholarship, the amount will be deducted from future payments or refunded if tuition has been paid in full. The scholarship committee reserves the right to approve or decline scholarship awards, including determining amounts, in accordance with the guidelines established by the board. The committee's decision is considered final and not subject to appeal.
Scholarships are available only for 1st-12th grade tuition packages. The scholarship amount may be prorated for half-year students.

The following terms and conditions constitute the Shipping Policy at Bridgeway Academy. It is the family’s responsibility to ensure that the shipping address is accurate and communicated before the materials are shipped.

Service Fees
An additional service fee will be applied to orders for families outside the continental U.S. (internationally, Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Territories).
Technology, Computer, and Email Access
Bridgeway Learning Center
● The Bridgeway Learning Center is a required online portal where parents and students can monitor academic progress, receive important notifications, explore learning preferences, and access various resources, including handbooks, calendars, orientation materials, and course resources. It serves as a platform for checking and submitting grades, seeking assistance, and using other tools and information beneficial to Bridgeway students and families. The Bridgeway Learning Center is the primary communication channel; however, staff may use other methods, including email and text, as outlined below.
● By using the Bridgeway Learning Center, families acknowledge and agree that Bridgeway Academy is not responsible for any issues or complications arising from a parent, family member, or student’s inability to use or failure to regularly log into the Bridgeway Learning Center.
Third-Party Usage
Bridgeway Academy services may involve third-party providers, including but not limited to educational platforms, software, and additional resources. These third-party services have their own terms and conditions, which are separate from these terms and conditions. By using these third-party services, families agree to adhere to and be bound by the terms and conditions of each service.
It is the family’s responsibility to review and understand these terms before using any third-party service. Bridgeway Academy is not responsible for any content, policies, or practices of third-party providers. The family agreement to and compliance with these third-party terms is a condition of your enrollment and continued use of Bridgeway Academy’s services.
International Use of Third-Party Platforms
Certain third-party learning platforms may not be accessible outside the United States. Families abroad should test access to these platforms once accounts are set up. A Virtual Private Network (VPN) may be necessary if access is blocked. VPN setup and maintenance are the family's responsibility. Bridgeway advisors may have alternative platform options if using a VPN is not possible.
E-Mail Communications
● Bridgeway Academy uses email to send vital information to families, including everyday assistance, deadline reminders, important notices, and re-enrollment details. Families must provide a current email address at enrollment and inform us of any changes to this address. It's also expected that families have regular access to a computer and email.
● Not providing a valid email address or failing to check email regularly may delay enrollment and communication throughout the school year. Families acknowledge that Bridgeway Academy is not responsible for issues arising from a parent, family, or student’s inability to receive and respond to email communications.
Text Message/SMS Policy
Bridgeway staff may send SMS text messages to mobile phones. Parents have the ability/right to opt out of these messages, if desired, by replying STOP to any message.
Artificial Intelligence
Bridgeway Academy may use Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) tools to support communication, streamline administrative tasks, and improve the delivery of services to families. Information provided by families may be processed through AI systems in accordance with our privacy and data protection policies, but AI will not make independent decisions that affect eligibility, services, or rights. We maintain reasonable safeguards to protect all information processed by AI. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of our AI use practices, and any significant updates to these practices will be communicated to families.
